Evil Geniuses Plans to Assemble Two New Lineups to Develop Youth

According to a number of sources, including Jaxon and Dust2.us, the North American esports organization Evil Geniuses plans to assemble two new CS:GO rosters to develop youth. As part of its new strategy, the club intends to keep 15 players at once, who will replace each other as certain results are achieved.

One of the largest North American organizations set about creating a youth team more than a year ago. Initial discussions for such a project began during the pandemic as the organization looked to expand the unit. While negotiations with various teams and players were in the initial stages, sources say that the organization has started specific discussions with one team playing in the ESL Challenger League. The organization would like its youth roster to compete in the WePlay Academy League.

Evil Geniuses is reportedly in talks with Carpe Diem, one of North America's most promising young bands over the past few weeks, and hopes to bring the five under its wing.

According to other rumors, Evil Geniuses also wants to sign the Party Astronauts roster, which has managed to prove itself on the European scene in recent months by playing at ESL Pro League Season 15.

Right now, the organization is looking to build a 15-man roster by signing two fully developed teams. However, Evil Geniuses has faced a number of issues related to roster restrictions that will be placed on players if they join the club. Only one team associated with the organization is eligible to play in the ESL Pro League and ESL Challenger League, which means that five players on this 15-man roster will be kicked out of the plans. In addition, other tournaments such as ESEA Cash Cups do not allow multiple teams from the same organization to participate.

The current roster of Evil Geniuses is as follows:

  • Brehze.
  • CeRq.
  • Stewie2K.
  • automatic.
  • RUSH.
  • maLeK (coach).
