Hiko ended his esports career

Hiko has officially ended his esports career. After fourteen action-packed years in Counter-Strike and VALORANT, the American has decided to hang up his keyboard to get into content creation. The 32-year-old will continue to delight his fans, but now as a content creator.

Thank you for being a part of my 14 year journey. I can't express how grateful I am to my fans, my community on Twitch and 100 Thieves. I love you all.

Hiko appeared on the professional scene in 2008. However, the American gained real fame a few years later, when he joined Team Liquid's CS:GO roster. Together with the team, the 32-year-old player became the winner of the iBUYPOWER Invitational 2015 - Fall and ESL ESEA Pro League Season 2 - North America, and also made it to the top three at MLG Major Championship: Columbus 2016 and ESL One: Cologne 2016.

However, after leaving Team Liquid, the American failed to find himself in Rogue, having decided to retire in mid-2019.

However, a year later, Hiko returned to the competitive scene, joining the 100 Thieves VALORANT roster. Over the next two seasons, the 32-year-old esportsman became the winner of First Strike North America and VCT 2021: North America Stage 2 Challengers 1, and also made it to the top three at VCT 2021: North America Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs, VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin and VCT 2021: North America Last Chance Qualifier.

After a bad start in the new season, the 100 Thieves camp is starting to change. More recently, the first rumors about the future of the team appeared, while Hiko and Ethan were planning to leave the lineup. Despite leaving the competitive scene and ending his career, Hiko will remain part of 100 Thieves, but now as a content creator.
