OverDrive spoke about the advisability of selling the roster of Gambit Esports
An OverDrive insider spoke about the expediency of selling the roster of Gambit Esports. Recall that the day before, an insider reported that the Russian esports organization Gambit Esports put up its CS:GO roster for transfer.
Currently, Gambit can only participate under a neutral name and without mentioning its sponsors. At the same time, the team is excluded from the ESL World Ranking, so in half of the TIER-1 tournaments, Gambit will have to go through qualifications, if, of course, there are any. Nothing is known about the timing of the ban and further developments. The absence of top tournaments leads to the loss of sponsors due to the loss of coverage, but this is not the worst thing.
The expectation of the unknown and the lack of game practice may not have a very good effect on the players, and destructive processes may begin in the team: loss of motivation, desire to leave for another team, and so on. A quick sale of the roster will keep the combat power and good tournament prospects. The sale of the roster is not some kind of hopelessness, it is, first of all, helping the players of the current CS:GO roster, who have earned full-fledged participation in all the top tournaments over many years of work.
Recall that the first rumors that the Gambit Esports organization intends to sell its roster appeared immediately after the statements of the tournament operators ESL and BLAST. However, for some time the club and the players were silent, until a week later the esportsmen themselves removed the mention of Gambit Esports in their social networks.
On the eve of OverDrive, he said that the Russian esports organization Gambit Esports put up its CS:GO roster for transfer.
The Gambit Esports roster is currently as follows:
- nafany.
- sh1ro.
- interz.
- Ax1Le.
- HObbit.
- groove (coach).
