OverDrive: Gambit Esports CS:GO roster put up for transfer
According to a well-known insider OverDrive, the Russian esports organization Gambit Esports has put its CS:GO roster up for transfer. This information indirectly confirms all the previous rumors that came to light after the organization was suspended from all international competitions, including tournaments from ESL and BLAST.
The first rumors that the Gambit Esports organization intends to sell its roster appeared immediately after the announcements of the tournament operators ESL and BLAST. However, for some time the club and the players were silent, until a week later the esportsmen themselves removed the mention of Gambit Esports in their social networks.
At the same time, Gambit Esports players will perform at ESL Pro League Season 15 in a neutral status, which was officially confirmed by both the organization and ESL. In addition, the club must not provide any support to the player in the tournament.
It is likely that the organization is taking a conscious step, since in the near future Gambit Esports will not be able to take part in international championships, thereby substituting young players. In addition, the changes may affect the VALORANT roster, which is also forced to play in the championships in a neutral status.
Recall that the Gambit Esports roster has been playing together since the summer of 2020, when HObbit joined the team. During this time, the team has won many championships, including Intel Extreme Masters XV - World Championship, Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Summer and BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2021, and also reached the semi-finals of PGL Major Stockholm 2021.
The Gambit Esports roster is currently as follows:
- nafany.
- sh1ro.
- interz.
- Ax1Le.
- HObbit.
- groove (coach).
