GMT Esports parted ways with CS:GO roster

Azerbaijani eSports organization GMT eSports announced the parting with the CS:GO roster. The official statement says that the club was dissatisfied with the results of the team in the esports arena. However, GMT Esports plans to explore its future in the discipline.

Unfortunately, we have to announce that we have decided to say goodbye to our CS:GO roster. This decision was made due to the unsatisfactory results of the roster in the esports arena. As for us, we will continue to explore new possibilities in this discipline.

GMT Esports entered the CS:GO discipline in January 2022 by signing the INDE IRAE team. In two months, the Russian team failed to live up to the set expectations, being remembered for the third place at ESEA Cash Cup: Europe - Winter 2021 #5, as well as reaching the quarterfinals of Malta Vibes Knockout Series #6.

However, the team failed to qualify for PGL Major Antwerp 2022: European RMR, which was probably the reason for breaking off relations with the organization. At the same time, it is reported that all players and the coaching staff will continue to work together under the same INDE IRAE tag.
