smooya has announced the end of his contract with Fnatic. Thus, the 22-year-old British esportsman became a free agent, open to outside offers. The player himself promised to talk about his future on the next stream today.

smooya joined Fnatic last October as a replacement for Jackinho. In four months, the British sniper helped the team win DreamHack Open November 2021 and REPUBLEAGUE Season 2, as well as qualify for Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Winter.

The last tournament for the esportsman as part of Fnatic was Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Katowice, as a result of which the team did not reach the playoffs, losing to Astralis (1:2). Immediately after that, the organization announced smooya's retirement, highlighting future changes in the team's roster.

At the same time, the 22-year-old Briton himself went to conquer the open qualifiers for PGL Major Antwerp 2022: European RMR together with the BenchedHeroes team. In addition, smooya managed to appear in the composition of Into The Breach, replacing isk.
