sk0R joined Checkmate
Mongolian esports organization Checkmate has announced the signing of sk0R. Previously, the 19-year-old Mongolian esportsman played for Team NKT.
sk0R entered the professional scene in 2019 by joining 2990 Esports. At the end of his first full season, the player moved to the D13 roster, with whom he showed impressive results by winning MESA League Season 1, Huya DarkHorse League Season 8, MESA Pro Series 2021 #2 and Huya DarkHorse League Season 9.
In the middle of last year, the 19-year-old Mongolian esportsman left D13, quickly finding a new home in Team NKT. For the rest of the season, sk0R once again showed extreme consistency, winning with the Funspark ULTI 2021: Asia Season 2, Funspark ULTI 2021: Asian Playoffs #1 and ESEA Season 38: Open Division - Asia-Pacific, as well as taking third place in the Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Fall: Asia and JBL Quantum Cup 2021.
Note that this is not the first addition to the composition of Checkmate. The organization previously signed nin9's kabal from Team Renewal, parting ways with cool4st and hasteka. It is expected that the newcomer will act as a substitute player, appearing on the server in the absence of a member of the main squad.
sk0R's debut for Checkmate may already take place as part of the ESL Challenger League Season 40: Asia-Pacific, which starts on February 1st.
From now on, the composition of Checkmate is as follows:
- bLitz.
- Techno4K.
- Bart4k.
- cabal.
- nin9.
- sk0r.
- maaRaa (coach).
