jkaem joined Apeks
The Norwegian esports organization announced changes in the CS: GO roster by signing with jkaem. The 27-year-old Norwegian esportsman spent his last season with EXTREMUM. The player himself spoke about his joining the club:
There were a number of reasons for the decision to return to Apeks. First of all, it is a very good organization that has good values and wants to become the best. Secondly, and most importantly, the fact that they wanted me to come back, leave the past behind and look ahead, made me know that it was worth coming back here.
My thoughts on returning were filled with mixed feelings. I was not sure if this could or would ever happen, but I am very glad it happened. So now I am thrilled with the coming year!
jkaem already played for the Apeks from October 2020 to January 2021, winning with the Telialigaen team - Fall 2020. After that, the cybersportsman moved to EXTREMUM, where he could not prove himself, just as the whole team failed, TOP-3 at Winstrike CIS Cup Spring 2021 and cs_summit 8.
After a string of bad results and a flop at Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Fall: North America, the organization announced the disbandment of the all-star roster. At that moment jkaem was in reserve, having not played at any tournament over the past three months.
In turn, the Apeks organization at the end of last year announced the restart of its project. The team began building a new roster around AcilioN and the former coaching staff led by Polly. The only acquisition for the team was nawwk, who previously played for NIP.
The current roster of Apeks is as follows:
- AcilioN.
- nawwk.
- jkaem.
- Polly (trainer).
