New Year, new changes - Apeks put four players on the bench

Recently it became known that the Apeks have made drastic changes in their CS: GO roster. The leadership of the organization relieved of their duties to the club brothers Gustaffson, Joachim 'Relaxa' and Fredrik 'FREDDyFROG', as well as Dennis 'dennis' Edman and rented Sander 'Grus' Nordeid Iversen. The players' contracts came to an end and the parties decided not to renew the cooperation agreements. Only Asger 'AcilioN' Larsen and Paul 'Polly' Kammen remained on the roster. The duo AcilioN and Polly entered 2022 along with the Apeks and the rest of the CS: GO roster will be built around these players, which will be assembled shortly.

2021 turned out to be quite difficult for the Apeks after Joakim 'jkaem' Mirbostad left the team at the beginning of the year in order to pursue a career in EXTREMUM. At that moment, the management decided to sign the Gustaffson brothers in the person of FREDDyFROG and Relaxa, as well as kreaz, but this did not help much. However, the year has not passed without titles at all. For example, the team won the Elisa Nordic Championship 2021 - Norway, receiving $ 6,250 there, and also took first place at Telialigaen Spring 2021, where the team earned $ 10,360 for the championship.

The management patiently watched the achievements of the CS: GO roster at various events and qualifying tournaments. The team recently took 16-18 place at Elisa Invitational Fall 2021, 13-14 place at ESEA Season 38 Premier Division Europe, 33-63 place in the European open qualifier for Intel Extreme Masters Fall 2021. The last straw that overflowed the cup of patience was the 5 -6th place at ESEA Season 38 Premier Relegation Europe. The team failed to qualify for the ESEA Premier League in Season 39, and the Rebels will continue to advance in the Advanced Division.

FREDDyFROG and Relaxa have already written on their Twitter accounts that they will be waiting for proposals to continue their career as CS: GO players.
