Chawzyyy joined the Apeks
Norwegian esports organization Apeks has announced that it has signed a deal with Chawzyyy. The 16-year-old Swedish esportsman has become the fourth player in the team's new roster. The organization did not stand aside and welcomed the newcomer to the club:
Hugo is young and inexperienced, but already showing a very high level. He will bring hunger and a fresh mind to the team. One thing that we made it very clear is that we will give Hugo the opportunity to be a great player. He will not be locked in a corner and will be given the space and freedom to define his own style of play.
Chawzyyy entered the professional scene in 2019. In early 2021, the player joined Galaxy Racer, becoming the main creator of all the team's achievements. Over the course of a year, the 16-year-old Swedish esports player helped the team win Fragleague Season 6 and ESEA Cash Cup: Europe - Summer 2021 # 4, as well as get into the TOP-4 at Elisa Nordic Championship 2021 - Sweden and BLAST Nordic Masters: Spring 2021.
Despite leaving the organization, Chawzyyy continued to pull the team along with him. In particular, he helped Savage qualify for ESL Challenger at DreamHack Anaheim 2022, behind only Double Poney.
Note that this is not the first change in the Apeks lineup since parting with the previous roster. The organization previously announced the acquisition of nawwk and jkaem, which previously favored NIP and EXTREMUM, respectively.
The current roster of Apeks is as follows:
- AcilioN.
- nawwk.
- jkaem.
- Chawzyyy.
- Polly (trainer).
