STYKO completed the roster of Apeks
Norwegian esports organization Apeks has announced the signing of a contract with STYKO. The 25-year-old Slovak esportsman has completed the roster for the new season, the latest addition after the abrupt change of course at the end of last season. The player himself spoke about his joining the team:
I feel definitely confident joining Apeks. The most important points for me were, of course, the vision of the project, as well as the composition with which I will be working.
Despite the fact that there are many well-known and proven players around me, I am most pleased to work with our young player "Chawzyyy". He is a talent that I would like to work with and help him become a star.
STYKO started his esports career back in 2011. However, the player gained his greatest fame in 2017 when he joined mousesports. Here the 25-year-old Slovak spent two seasons until he went to conquer the TIER-2 scene. The last team in STYKO's career was FunPlus Phoenix.
Having joined the team at the beginning of 2021, the player managed to win Snow Sweet Snow # 1, as well as to take second place in DreamHack Open January 2021: Europe and Fantasyexpo EU Champions Fall 2021. However, due to weak results at the end of the season, the organization announced about parting with the players, transferring those to inactive. From that moment on, STYKO remained in the shadows of the competitive scene, exploring career options.
Note that this is not the first change in the Apeks lineup since the breakup with the previous roster. The organization previously announced the acquisition of nawwk and jkaem, who previously competed for NIP and EXTREMUM, respectively, and signed a deal with Chawzyyy, a young Swedish talent who previously represented Savage.
From now on, the Apeks roster is as follows:
- AcilioN.
- nawwk.
- jkaem.
- STYKO.
- Chawzyyy.
- Polly (trainer).
