Call of Duty Movie Adaptation First Details Revealed
Call of Duty is surely one of the biggest video game franchises ever. Over the past 22 years, there has been more than 20 Call of Duty games, set in different timelines - from World War II to futuristic setting and the space. It's not a big surprise that eventually we will get a movie adaptation soon - and now we have the very first details of upcoming Call of Duty movie.
According to well-known and reliable insider Daniel Richtman, filming for Call of Duty untitled movie will be starting this year and we will have a modern-day setting. Unfortunately, it's all what he said, but considering that rumor that filming will begin this year, we might receive some information soon. It's also not confirmed yet, will the movie will adapt games like Modern Warfare or Advanced Warfare or it will be a completely new story that doesn't have any connection to video games.
Last month it was reported that Activision are working with Paramount Pictures to develop Call of Duty movie. Peter Berg (Hancock, Deepwater Horizon, Mile 22) will serve as director and Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone) is responsible for scenario.
