Warzone Season 4 Reloaded: Start Date, Resurgence Ranked, New Weapons & More

The mid-season Season 4 Reloaded update is shaping up to be one of the most content-rich patches Warzone has seen. From new weapons and modes to the return of Resurgence Ranked, here’s a full breakdown of what’s coming and when to expect it.

🗓️ When Does Warzone Season 4 Reloaded Launch?

Season 4 Reloaded goes live on July 2, 2025, at 9 AM PT/ 12 PM ET, across all platforms. While Season 5 has been extended to 10 weeks, this mid-season drop still lands right at the halfway mark.

🔫 New Weapons

Two additions are set to hit the battlefield:

• Olympia – A classic double-barrel Shotgun, last seen in Black Ops 3, returning with its trademark close-range devastation.
• Pickaxe – A melee weapon capable of one-hit kills, but with shorter range than other options.

Both can be unlocked via in-game events or through the Beavis & Butt-Head Event Pass in Black Ops 6. Additional attachments for BO6 and Warzone are also being introduced:

• G-Grip
• Stryder.22 (3-round burst)
• SVD (Full Auto)
• TR2 CQB (Full Auto)

🎖️ Resurgence Ranked Is Back

Ranked Resurgence returns on Rebirth Island, featuring the same ruleset from the MW3 era but with fresh rankings. For now, it will launch as Trios only, and operate independently from Verdansk Ranked.

😌 Resurgence Casual Mode

This more relaxed version of Resurgence now includes 44-player lobbies with bots, aimed at:

• New players
• Warm-up games
• Those looking for a lower-pressure match

⚔️ Havoc Royale Mode

This new, fast-paced mode features:

• 44 players
• Full loadouts on drop
• Match duration capped at 15 minutes
• A condensed Verdansk battlefield

Buy Station exclusives in this mode:

• Squad Buyback
• Armor Plates, Gas Masks
• Door Barricades, Munitions Boxes
• Redeploy Drones
• UAVs
• Hand Cannon

🔁 Chaos Modifiers

Havoc Royale will feature rotating modifiers that drastically change gameplay. Some highlight examples:

• Charge Jump – Super jumps based on movement speed.
• Cranked – Explode if you don’t get a kill in time. Kill or loot to extend timer.
• Crouch Potato – Regenerate health/armor while crouched and disguised as a sack of potatoes.
• Eye See You – Permanent Advanced UAV and googly eyes.
• Melon Heads – Watermelon explosions on headshots.
• Make it Rain – Ammo/cash abundance; Fire Sale active.
• Unregulated Airspace – Unlimited Killstreak use.

Final Circle Modifiers:

• Showdown – Everyone gets the same loadout.
• Rising Gas – Gas moves vertically, forcing players upward.

🧍‍♂️ Warzone Solos: Regular & Casual

Standard Solos are returning alongside Casual Solos (with bots). Activision is running both versions to test player preferences. Benefits seen from Casual Solos testing include:

🎮 Beavis & Butt-Head Crossover

The iconic 90s duo arrives as part of Season 4 Reloaded. Promo images show Beavis, Butt-Head, Coach Buzzcut, and Todd Ianuzzi outfitted in tactical gear. Expect them as Operator skins, hitting the store with or shortly after the patch drops.

🛠️ New Equipment, Killstreaks, & Perks

A host of Clash-mode features are being added to Battle Royale and Casual:

• Door Barricade – Block building entries and slow enemy movement.
• Hand Cannon – A powerful Killstreak that shreds through armor.
• Care Package Killstreak – Drops rare loot mid-match.
• Search and Destroy Contract – Plant a bomb on a Buy Station to earn rewards.
