Vancouver Surge emerged as the dark horse of the tournament, pushing FaZe to Game 5 in the Winners Finals before battling through the Losers Bracket. After sweeping Ultra 3-0, Surge secured their spot in the Grand Finals, but FaZe hit their peak performance, leaving no room for an upset.
