Wedid sits down in the XSET stock
Wedid decided to sit on the bench for the XSET team. According to the 21-year-old player, he made the decision to take a back seat before the end of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2021.
"Thanks to the organization for the opportunity. I am still eager to compete and try myself in other teams, I can play almost any role, except the in-game leader, but I am ready to learn,"Wedid wrote.
The American player started his career with VALORANT back in June last year, playing for various teams. However, in July Wedid joined Mamba Mode Gaming, with which he won several championships, including Nerd Street Gamers - Open # 15, eRena Valorant Invitational and Pulse Series. However, the tale did not last long as the 21-year-old left the team at the end of September to join Pretty Boyz.
Together with this team, Wedid immediately won the Nerd Street Gamers - Monthly October, until it became part of the original XSET roster. Together with the team, the American player continued to conquer the local scene, finishing in third place at the Pittsburgh Knights Before Christmas.
However, the new season was not going well for XSET, because after the victory at the NSG x Complexity Invitational, the team was in for a series of disappointments. The tip of the iceberg was the failure at the next tournament of the VCT 2021 series, which deprived the team of a place in the upcoming VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: Stage 2 Masters - Reykjavík.
From now on, the composition of XSET is as follows:
- Thwifo.
- AYRIN.
- PureR.
- BcJ.
- SyykoNT (trainer).
