wayLander joins the IVY team
IVY has announced the signing of wayLander as team captain. The esports organization announced this on its Twitter.
The 27-year-old Finnish player with a Russian passport is known to fans for his long career in CS: GO. Since 2013, wayLander has played for teams such as Courage-Gaming, PiTER, HS.GG, Gambit, FlipSid3 Tactics, Winstrike and pro100. Over the course of his long career, the player earned $ 69,392, and also won several significant tournaments, including the CIS Minor Championship - Columbus 2016, DreamHack Open Leipzig 2017 and DreamHack Delhi Invitational 2019.
However, at the end of 2020, wayLander's career began to decline. Not only the team, but the player himself began to show nondescript results. As a result, the Finn announced his departure to the in-asset, after which wayLander announced the transition to VALORANT.
In January 2021, the 27-year-old player joined the DAT team. After a series of failures, wayLander found a place in the Mangal team, with which he sensationally qualified for VCT 2021: CIS Stage 1 Challengers 1. However, the team did not see further development, which led to the complete disbandment of the roster.
Interestingly, wayLander has already held one meeting with IVY - in the open qualifier for the EURAT Valorant Vanquisher Series, the team lost to alltheRAGE (10:13).
From now on, IVY's roster is as follows:
- HighKitty.
- rAsk.
- xTribune.
- Feeqn.
- wayLander.
- Tenebra (trainer)
