Since the dawn of multiplayer video games, AFK players have been a cause of serious concern for other players on the server. This is especially true for competitive disciplines such as VALORANT.
Recently, players have been submitting many complaints to developers for not implementing measures to effectively solve the AFK problem. It looks like Riot Games has listened to its audience as the company announced it will start giving temporary bans to players for inactivity during a match.
