Rumor: A new weapon called Warden may be coming to Valorant

Renowned dataminer KOHTEIHEP, who has previously and repeatedly accurately predicted Valorant content (agents, map changes, skin bundles), has dropped an unexpected statement. According to his information, a new weapon called Warden will be added to the game in the future.

According to the leak, Warden is a fully automatic rifle with a 2x scope, priced the same as the Vandal and Phantom. The weapon's stats will reportedly be as follows:

• 2x scope
• 18-round magazine + 90 reserve
• Spread: 0.15 hip-fire/ 0.04 ADS
• Fire rate: 6.55 hip-fire/ 6 ADS
• Movement speed: 5.4 m/s/ 4.104 m/s ADS
• Reload: 2.5s. Equip: 1s
• Fully automatic, medium penetration
• Price: 2,900 credits
• Damage is unknown

Based on these parameters, Warden looks like a more expensive version of the Guardian, or even a new alternative to the most popular rifles, the Vandal and Phantom, with a lower fire rate but better accuracy thanks to the scope.

As a reminder, the last new weapon to arrive in Valorant was the Bandit pistol, released in January 2026 in patch 12.00. It also shook up the pistol meta, and now on pistol or eco rounds, players often pick it over the Ghost or Sheriff. However, it remains unclear whether Warden will be able to dent the popularity of the Vandal or Phantom. Both rifles are already extremely well-studied by players, and remain the most popular weapons both in casual matches and on the pro scene.

The release date for the weapon has not yet been announced, and Riot Games has not officially commented on this information yet. Also worth noting: according to rumors, a new temporary store type called Soup may also be coming to Valorant.
