MOUZ Officially Exits VALORANT Scene
MOUZ has announced its full withdrawal from VALORANT, confirming that the organization will no longer compete in Riot Games’ tactical shooter. The decision was shared via MOUZ’s official social media channels, where the club explained that the current VCT ecosystem does not align with its long-term goals.
According to MOUZ, the structure of the existing competitive system leaves no clear, sustainable path forward for the organization.
We have decided not to continue our journey in VALORANT. The current VCT format does not align with our ambitions as an organization, and we do not see a place for ourselves in the existing ecosystem.
Three Years in VALORANT Come to an End 🙏
Alongside the announcement, MOUZ expressed gratitude to everyone involved in its VALORANT project over the past three years, including players, coaches, and partners.
We sincerely thank our partners, players, and coaches for their support and dedication throughout the past three years of our journey in VALORANT.
MOUZ’s Results in VALORANT 📊
During its time in the scene, MOUZ primarily competed in European Challengers leagues, with a strong focus on the DACH region. The team achieved several solid regional results, including:
- 🥇 VALORANT Challengers 2024 DACH: Evolution – Split 2
- 🥇 VALORANT Challengers 2025 DACH: Evolution – Split 3
Despite consistent regional success, MOUZ was unable to qualify for international events such as Masters or Champions.
Part of a Bigger Problem in VCT ⚠️
MOUZ’s exit reflects a growing trend across the VALORANT scene, where multiple organizations have openly criticized the closed VCT partnership model. Many teams outside the partner slots have pointed to the lack of long-term stability and planning opportunities.
The departure of one of Europe’s most recognizable esports brands once again raises serious questions about the accessibility, growth, and sustainability of the VALORANT ecosystem for tier-two organizations.
