Former Ninjas in Pajamas player announces career suspension
v1xen, who is a former Ninjas in Pajamas player, has announced an indefinite hiatus from VALORANT. The 23-year-old Brazilian esportsman did not reveal the reasons for his decision, but added that he plans to focus more on live streaming. Note that simultaneously with the publication of the statement, the organization Ninjas in Pajamas officially announced the breakup with the player.
I can't express how grateful I am for spending these three short years in VALORANT. I managed to do a lot more during this time than I did in seven years in Counter-Strike, and I can’t even believe that I traveled and met so many places and people because of a small game to be able to do what I love..
In this post, I am announcing that I am suspending my pro tier activities in VALORANT. I don't plan to stop playing, but I'm going to focus on creating content.
I appreciate every person who worked with me and who gave me the opportunity to show what I am capable of, I had ups and downs, and, I confess, I did not have such expressive results as I would like. However, I leave with the feeling that I could have done more. But at the same time, I am proud of what I managed to build.
v1xen appeared on the scene at the beginning of 2020. However, the rise in the career of the 23-year-old Brazilian happened in 2021, when he, along with the Keyd Stars team, became the winner of the VCT 2021: Brazil Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs, and also took part in the VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin and VALORANT Champions 2021.
The latest team for v1xen was Ninjas in Pajamas, with whom he managed to take second place at VCT 2022: Brazil Stage 2 Challengers. However, last autumn the Swedish club failed to get into the affiliate program, as a result of which they said goodbye to their squad. Probably due to failures in finding a new team, the 23-year-old Brazilian esportsman decided to temporarily leave the scene.
