Rumors: Guild Esports will sign The Barbers roster

According to the editor of Liquipedia, British esports organization Guild Esports is about to sign The Barbers roster to take part in VALORANT Challengers 2023 Northern Europe: Polaris Split 1. The team is made up of experienced players who have previously played for Team Liquid, G2 Esports, BIG and Mad Lions.

The Barbers is captained by ec1s, a former player of Team Liquid, Ninjas in Pajamas, 100 Thieves and HEET. However, the last season of the Briton turned out to be unsuccessful, but now the 22-year-old player is ready to revive his career.

Together with him, Kryptix plays for the team. The 27-year-old Briton also previously played for Team Liquid, but in February 2022 he moved to MOUZ. The third star player of the roster is Meddo, who previously played for G2 Esports.

The next member of the team is polvi, who recently left MAD Lions. The last link of the team is luckeRRR, who spent half a year in the BIG team.

Interestingly, the team is coached by an experienced specialist Jovi, who managed to work as the head coach of 100 Thieves, as well as an analyst at OpTic Gaming and FUSION. Now the 28-year-old American has moved to Northern Europe, where he leads an extremely promising squad.

The Barbers have been playing together since November, and during this time the team became the winner of Golden Goose #4 and Guild Academy - BEACON Split 2, and also performed at the G-Loot VALORANT Clash - Grand Finals.

Currently, the European team is preparing to start within BEACON Open Split 2: Finals - Division 1, where two tickets to the league are up for grabs. However, even in case of failure, there is a chance that Guild Esports will receive a direct invite to participate in VALORANT Challengers 2023 Northern Europe: Polaris.

Potential Guild Esports roster for VALORANT:

  • Cryptox
  • ec1s
  • Meddo
  • Polvi
  • luckeRRR
  • Jovi (coach)
