bishop takes charge of SuperMassive Esports
Turkish esports organization SuperMassive Esports has announced the appointment of Bishop as the head coach of its VALORANT roster. The 29-year-old Turkish specialist will be working alongside gAndhi as they begin preparations for VALORANT Challengers 2023 Turkey: Birlik Split 1.
Checkmate! We have added Bishop as Head Coach to our VALORANT team. Welcome to the family, bishop.
The 29-year-old Turkish specialist made himself known in the summer of 2021, when he led the educated project Eternal Fire with woxic and XANTARES. During the year spent at the helm of the teams, the bishop managed to become the champion of ESL Türkiye Şampiyonası: Summer 2021, ESA Esports Supremes Spring 2022, ESL Türkiye Şampiyonası: Winter 2022 and ESL Pro League Conference Season 16, as well as get into the TOP-3 at REPUBLEAGUE Season 2, TWR Eastern European Masters: Spring 2022 and Pinnacle Cup IV.
However, last summer the Turkish specialist was expelled from the team. Since then, the bishop has quickly found himself in VALORANT, leading Galatasaray Esports. Here the coach had a breakthrough in the Open Fire Stand United (2nd place), but no other results happened.
The 29-year-old Turkish specialist will now be building a new team that will debut at VALORANT Challengers 2023 Turkey: Birlik Split 1 in mid-January. Prior to this, the organization will have to conclude several deals in order to fully staff its staff. In particular, a number of insiders are wooing CyderX and Elite in SuperMassive Esports.
The updated roster of SuperMassive Esports in the VALORANT discipline:
- Izzy
- SouhcNi (loan)
- STERBEN
- bishop (head coach)
- gAndhi (assistant coach)
