Rumors: Demon1 may become an Evil Geniuses player
According to BLIX.GG, North American esports organization Evil Geniuses intends to further inflate their VALORANT roster by considering signing Demon1. The 20-year-old American is set to become the club's eighth player as they prepare for their debut on the 2023 VALORANT Champions Tour: LOCK//IN São Paulo.
Demon1 spent the last four months of his career with Sqn 2.0. Here, the 20-year-old American player became the winner of Knights Arena North America 2022: Weekly #8, Knights Arena North America 2022: Weekly #12 and Knights Arena Monthly Gauntlet 2022: September, and also made it to the top three at Knights Arena North America 2022: Weekly #11, Liquid Open 2022 - North America and BoomTV VALORANT Select.
The Evil Geniuses organization was included in the final list of partners for the American League. This means that the club will play in the same ecosystem along with Sentinels, 100 Thieves, Cloud9, NRG Esports, Leviatán Esports, FURIA, LOUD, KRÜ Esports and MIBR.
Since then, "Evil Geniuses" did not begin to say goodbye to their former team, limiting themselves to signing Ethan and BcJ. In addition, the organization has appointed Zikz, a former coach from League of Legends, as their new member of the coaching staff.
The new roster is expected to debut on the 2023 VALORANT Champions Tour: LOCK//IN São Paulo, which will take place early next year in Brazil. However, it is not yet known who will be in the starting XI, as the organization has not made any official announcements before the start of the season.
