Former coach of Natus Vincere led the KPI Gaming team
Spanish esports organization KPI Gaming has announced the appointment of SmartSeven as the head coach of their VALORANT roster. In this role, the Belarusian specialist will work with the team to lead them to success as part of the upcoming VALORANT Challengers 2023 Spain: Rising Split 1.
Say hello to SmartSeven, our new Valorant head coach! After working at forZe and NAVI, he joins the KPI Gaming tech team with extensive experience at the highest competitive levels in VALORANT. On behalf of the club, we want to express our particular hopes for this change as we believe it will be very positive for the current squad and take us to the highest level.
SmartSeven has spent the last year at the helm of the Natus Vincere team. Here, the Belarusian specialist led the team to the finals at the Meta Open Valorant, Finest Invitational and Moscow Cybersport Series #4 - Superfinal. In addition, with "Born to Win" he managed to take part in the VCT 2021: EMEA Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs (9th-12th place), VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 1 Challengers (7th-8th place) VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers (9th-10th place) and VCT 2022: EMEA Last Chance Qualifier (5th-6th place).
Note that slk will lead the team with him. The 28-year-old has worked with the team for over a year with some success.
With a new head coach, the team will begin preparations for VALORANT Challengers 2023 Spain: Rising Split 1 starting on January 8th. As part of the regular season, KPI Gaming will compete with each of its rivals - AYM Esports, Case Esports, Falcons, Movistar Riders, Ramboot Club, Team Queso, UCAM Esports Club, ZETA and Rebels Gaming.
