Cloud9 officially parted ways with the women's VALORANT team

North American esports organization Cloud9 has announced it is parting ways with its all-female VALORANT roster. The Cloud9 White team was rightfully considered the strongest in North America and one of the leaders in the entire Game Changers scene. However, now the players will go to different teams to continue their careers in the new season.

Seeing this team thrive in the Game Changers scene and beyond has brought us so much joy at Cloud9. We are grateful and proud of everything we have achieved over the past two years. We are confident that every player here will continue to push the boundaries in esports!

The core of Cloud9 White has been moving along since 2020. During this time, the North American team became the winner of VCT 2021: Game Changers North America Series 1, VCT 2021: Game Changers North America Series 2, VCT 2021: Game Changers North America Series 3, VCT 2022: Game Changers North America Series 1, VCT 2022: Game Changers North America Series 2 and VCT 2022: Game Changers North America Series 3, and also reached the finals of Valorant Sunday Showdown Week 87 and Knights Arena North America 2022: Weekly #11.

In addition, at the last VCT 2022: Game Changers Championship, the team took fourth place, losing to Shopify Rebellion GC with a score of 1:2 in the lower bracket.

At present, the prospects of Cloud9's organization in the women's competitive scene are unclear. In its address, the club said that it would continue to support women's esports, but did not say anything about the Game Changers scene. However, the organization will not leave the discipline as a whole, having previously partnered with Riot Games for the VCT American League.

In turn, the now former Cloud9 White roster will quickly find new teams. There have been rumors in the past about VersionX's interest in meL and alexis services.
