TENSTAR disbands roster and temporarily leaves VALORANT
British esports organization TENSTAR has announced it is parting ways with its VALORANT roster. In addition, the club announced the termination of operations in the discipline until further notice.
We have studied and negotiated with Riot Games and the three newly created Challengers series leagues, the outlook is extremely positive , although still undergoing adjustments. We are confident that the ecosystem will establish and mature, we will be back when it happens. We have invested heavily in the discipline over the last 20 months and we have had some stellar moments. It inspired us and made us fall in love with VALORANT, the developers and the community.
More importantly, while we were exceptional on the server, we didn't achieve that in other areas. Our growth and our employees have been extraordinary in every way. We take our club to places we never dreamed of. We are sincerely grateful to all our fans, players, coaches and staff who are real stars.
This rapid success came at a cost. We have to reboot, but rebuilding starts from the head. We have some insanely exciting opportunities ahead of us, but it takes focus. We will slow down the pace of events, fix the situation and start building again.
The TENSTAR organization gathered its last lineup in May 2022, signing the Polish lineup. Over the following months, the team became the winner of VALORANT Regional Leagues 2022 East: Surge Stage 2, and also took fifth place in VALORANT Regional Leagues 2022: Finals.
However, the British club did not get into the affiliate program, which predetermined the near future of TENSTAR in the discipline. However, the organization promised to gather with new forces to return to VALORANT.
