ardiis has officially joined NRG
North American esports organization NRG has unveiled the fifth member of its VALORANT roster by signing ardiis sniper. The 24-year-old Latvian esportsman joins the team after a season spent with FunPlus Phoenix.
ardiis made a name for himself while playing for the G2 Esports team, with whom he managed to win the Vitality European Open, WePlay! Invitational, Allied Esports Odyssey and BLAST Twitch Invitational. The next step in the career of the 24-year-old sniper was Team Heretics, where he never managed to open up.
However, at the end of last year, ardiis joined the FunPlus Phoenix team. Here, the Latvian managed to reveal himself as one of the strongest representatives of his region, winning VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 1 Challengers and VCT 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen, as well as getting into the TOP-4 at VALORANT Champions 2022.
And yet, ardiis refused to move along with his roster, who, as we know, joined NAVI. As a result, the sniper accepted the offer from North America, which was in line with the ambitions of the esportsman.
Recall that the North American organization NRG has become a partner of Riot Games and will take part in the highest competitive ecosystem in America along with Sentinels, 100 Thieves, Cloud9, Evil Geniuses, FURIA, LOUD, MIBR, Leviatán Esports and KRÜ Esports.
Now the club must introduce its substitute player, who, according to recent rumors, will be thwifo from the T1 team.
The team's new roster is expected to debut at the VALORANT Champions Tour 2023: Kickoff Tournament, which will take place from February to March in Brazil.
