delz1k ends VALORANT career to continue his studies
delz1k announced his retirement from VALORANT in order to resume his studies in the mining of natural resources. The 22-year-old Chilean player announced this on one of the live broadcasts, where he also explained some of the reasons that prompted him to make this decision. Thus, the former KRÜ Esports player will miss the next competitive season.
I don't know if there will be a full stream, and if I will go on the air more often. I'm not going to keep competing.
delz1k appeared on the scene in the summer of 2020. Already in March 2021, he joined the KRÜ Esports team, which was the best decision in his career. Together with the team, the 22-year-old Chilean player became the winner of VCT 2021: LAS Stage 2 Challengers 1, VCT 2021: Latin America Stage 2 Challengers Finals, VCT 2021: LAS Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs, VCT 2021: LATAM Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs, VCT 2022: LATAM Stage 1 Challengers Playoffs and VCT 2022: South America Last Chance Qualifier.
In addition, delz1k has reached the semi-finals of VALORANT Champions 2021, as well as taking part in all international championships over the past two seasons.
However, back in early October, the Chilean club announced they were parting ways with delz1k. Then there were rumors that the 22-year-old player could continue his career at 9z, but the esportsman himself chose to move away from competition and focus on his studies.
