rion leaves Crazy Raccoon again
Japanese esports organization Crazy Raccoon has announced changes to its VALORANT roster, removing rion from its active roster. The 26-year-old Japanese player will continue his activities at the club as a streamer. Note that this is the second such case in the career of an esportsman who has been creating content for a year.
rion appeared on the scene back in July 2020, becoming part of Crazy Raccoon. Together with the team, the 26-year-old Japanese player became the winner of the VALORANT TechnoBlood Climber Summit, VCT 2021: Japan Stage 1 Challengers 2, VCT 2021: Japan Stage 1 Masters and VCT 2021: Japan Stage 2 Challengers Finals, and also took part in the VCT 2021: Stage 2 Masters - Reykjavik.
However, last summer he left the squad for the first time to work on content creation for a Japanese club. In this role, rion spent a whole year to return to the team's starting lineup last summer.
In the remaining months of the season, the 26-year-old Japanese took third place in the VCT 2022: Japan Stage 2 Challengers Playoffs, and also got into the TOP-6 at the VCT 2022: East Asia Last Chance Qualifier.
However, the Japanese organization Crazy Raccoon failed to make the final list of partners for VCT 2023 in Asia, which led to some lineup changes. In particular, the day before the club sold Seoldam to DetonatioN Gaming. However, the organization's future prospects are unclear in a discipline that has yet to make an official statement about its future.
Updated roster of Crazy Raccoon in VALORANT discipline:
