Leo Joins Fnatic's VALORANT Roster
British esports organization Fnatic has announced changes to its VALORANT roster by signing Leo. The 18-year-old Swedish player joins the Guild Esports team and is already preparing to make his Superdome debut.
Leo has spent the last two seasons with Guild Esports. Here, the 18-year-old Swede made it to the top 3 in the VCT 2021: Europe Stage 1 Masters, VCT 2021: Europe Stage 2 Challengers 1, VCT 2021: Europe Stage 3 Challengers 1 and VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers, as well as performed at VCT 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen.
However, like many other representatives of the scene, Leo left the team after the announcement of the list of VCT 2023 partners. At the same time, the Swede immediately appeared on the shortlist of Fnatic, which wanted to sign the young talent.
The debut of the 18-year-old esportsman for the new club will take place today, October 16, as part of the Superdome. At the championship, the European team will compete for a prize of $30,000.
Recall that the Fnatic organization was among the partners of Riot Games and received the right to play in the European League. Here the club will compete with teams such as Team Vitality, Karmine Corp, FUT Esports, BBL Esports, Natus Vincere, Team Liquid, KOI, Team Heretics and Giants Gaming.
Notably, the club was also interested in Chronicle's services. But, since the esportsman was unable to visit the Superdome, this transfer will probably be announced later.
