Monyet leaves ONIC Esports
Monyet announced his departure from the Onic Esports VALORANT team. The Indonesian esportsman stated this on his social networks, adding that the organization allowed him to explore options for continuing his career.
ONIC Esports allowed me to explore my options in 2023. At the moment I am open to all offers, most likely looking for partner teams.
Monyet has been part of ONIC Esports for the last two seasons. Together with the team, the Indonesian player became the winner of VCT 2021: Indonesia Stage 3 Challengers 1, SEA Esports Championship 2021 and VCT 2022: Indonesia Stage 2 Challengers, and also made it to the top three at the Valorant Adrenalin Invitational, VCT 2022: Indonesia Stage 1 Challengers and VCT 2022: APAC Last Chance Qualifier.
In addition, Monyet has two MVP awards for participating in the SEA Esports Championship 2021 and VCT 2022: Indonesia Stage 2 Challengers.
However, the Indonesian organization did not make it to the final list of partners to participate in VCT 2023. Recall that the following teams became partners in Asia: ZETA DIVISION, T1, Gen.G Esports, DRX, DetonatioN Gaming, Team Secret, Rex Regum Qeon, Paper Rex, Global Esports Talon Esports.
This is not the first change in the roster of ONIC Esports in recent times — SEVERiNE and coach Ewok left the team earlier. It is noteworthy that the South African specialist has already led the Rex Regum Qeon team. It is currently unclear if the Indonesian club will remain in the discipline.
The current roster of ONIC Esports in the VALORANT discipline:
- Shiro
- NcSlasher
- Lmemore
