RAINMAKER leaves Infinity Esports
RAINMAKER has announced his departure from Infinity Esports in the VALORANT discipline. The 28-year-old Guatemalan e-sportsman announced this on his social networks, declaring his readiness to move to any region to participate in the next season.
I would like to announce that I am currently a free agent and open to offers for next year.
RAINMAKER became part of Infinity Esports in the summer of 2020, having moved from the Estral Esports camp. During this time, the 28-year-old Guatemalan player helped the team win the GGTech VALORANT Invitational 2 - LAN, No Tilt Cup Latin America North, VCT 2021: LAN Stage 2 Challengers 1 and VCT 2021: LAN Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs.
In addition, together with the team, he managed to get into the top three at First Strike Latin America North, VCT 2021: LATAM North Stage 1 Masters and VCT 2021: Latin America Stage 2 Challengers Finals, among others.
However, last season Infinity Esports showed far from the most impressive results, finishing fourth and fifth in Challengers 1 and Challengers 2, respectively. As a result, the team did not play in any major championship, nor did they receive a partner slot to participate in VCT 2023.
At the same time, the future of the Costa Rican esports organization in the discipline remains in limbo, as it has not yet made an official statement regarding its next steps.
