Former XSET player to join Global Esports
According to well-known insider George Geddes, the Indian esports organization Global Esports has completed the transfer of AYRIN, a former XSET player. With this transfer, the club confirms its readiness to assemble a combat-ready squad of ten players, which will include representatives from other regions outside of Asia.
AYRIN has played for the XSET team for the past two seasons. Together with the team, the 26-year-old Canadian became the champion of the NSG x Complexity Invitational, Nerd Street Gamers: Winter Championship, Nerd Street Gamers: Summer Championship - Philadelphia and VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Stage 2 Challengers.
In addition, he managed to perform at the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen (7th-8th place) and VALORANT Champions 2022 (5th-6th place). However, XSET failed to become part of the affiliate program, resulting in the club allowing its players to look for career options.
The deal between the player and Global Esports has reportedly been finalized today and AYRIN is set to head overseas to Seoul to play with the rest of the roster next season. Earlier it was reported that the Indian organization plans to leave the current five, as well as sign four players from Asia, as well as one team member from Europe or America.
Recall that the Global Esports organization was among the partners to participate in the VCT 2023 in Asia. The Indian club will compete in the same League alongside ZETA DIVISION, T1, Gen.G Esports, DRX, DetonatioN Gaming, Team Secret, Rex Regum Qeon, Paper Rex and Talon Esports.
