Lakia and allow joined DAMWON Gaming
South Korean esports organization DAMWON Gaming has made changes to their VALORANT roster by signing Lakia and allow. Both players will help the team on the upcoming VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: East Asia Last Chance Qualifier. However, the club parted ways with Hate, who left the team as a free agent.
Hate, who was on the VALORANT team last season, has ended his contract. However, we also welcome Lakia and allow into our lineup.
Lakia made a name for himself last year with the Vision Strikers. Together with the team, the 21-year-old South Korean player won the VCT 2021: Korea Stage 3 Challengers and VCT 2021: Korea Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs, and also took part in the VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin and VALORANT Champions 2021.
However, in the new season, Lakia did not need DRX, going on loan to IGZIST. Here, the esportsman managed to take third place in the VCT 2022: Japan Stage 1 Challengers Playoffs.
In turn, allow has spent the last six months as part of Jadeite, with which he took part in the VCT 2022: Japan Stage 2 Challengers Playoffs, finishing 7th-8th and earning $366.
Hate has represented the colors of DAMWON Gaming since April 2022, finishing in third place at VCT 2022: Korea Stage 2 Challengers.
The next championship for DAMWON Gaming will be the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: East Asia Last Chance Qualifier, which will take place online from August 8 to 14. The championship will feature eight teams that will compete for a ticket to VALORANT Champions 2022.
From now on, the DAMWON Gaming VALORANT roster is as follows:
- T3xture
- Esperanza
- exy
- Bangnan
- allow
- Lakia (loan)
- solo (head coach
- Calmly (assistant coach)
