Lakia may join DAMWON Gaming

According to insider Bo Hoogland, Lakia may join DAMWON Gaming. The 21-year-old South Korean is currently training with a team looking to strengthen their roster ahead of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: East Asia Last Chance Qualifier.

According to sources, Lakia, a former Nuturn Gaming and Vision Strikers player, has recently been training with DAMWON Gaming. It was also mentioned that Ssun, a former Spear Gaming player, also tested for DAMWON Gaming.

Lakia made a name for himself last year with the Vision Strikers. Together with the team, the 21-year-old South Korean player won the VCT 2021: Korea Stage 3 Challengers and VCT 2021: Korea Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs, and also took part in the VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin and VALORANT Champions 2021.

However, in the new season, Lakia did not need DRX, going on loan to IGZIST. Here, the esportsman managed to take third place in the VCT 2022: Japan Stage 1 Challengers Playoffs.
