Official: SEIDER Helps FunPlus Phoenix Play VCT 2022 Stage 2 Masters Copenhagen

FunPlus Phoenix reported on their Twitter account and other media that temporary changes were made to the Valorant roster. According to the organization, SUYGETSU was unable to obtain a visa to visit the capital of Denmark, Copenhagen, where the $650,000 championship will be held.

This was previously reported by the journalist Dr Kutluhan Alpha, and then the information was confirmed by the team's player, ardiis. Representatives of the eSports club made an official announcement on their Twitter account, where they reported the details of the problem and talked about the solution found:

Today we share the unfortunate news that SUYGETSU will be unable to attend the group stage of VCT Masters Copenhagen due to visa issues. Whilst we have been working hard on getting SUYGETSU to the event, the time of getting his visa approval still remains uncertain.

With this said, our eyes have been set on bringing in someone who can match his level of skill and we're excited to welcome Mathias 'SEIDER' Seider to our squad. During the last VRL Northern Europe season, SEIDER played a flex role in Alliance and showed great performance in diffrerent agents. We believe he will easily slot in and bring some valuable diversities to our team on the international stage. FunPlus Phoenix take part in VALORANT Champions Tour 2022 Stage 2 Masters Copenhagen. The tournament will be held from 10 to 24 July. 12 teams will take part in the championship: Fnatic, XSET, Paper Rex and Leviatan, who got a place in the playoffs, as well as eight teams of the group stage: Guild Esports, KRU Esports, LOUD, OpTic Gaming, DRX, FunPlusPhoenix, XERXIA and Northemption. The match with FunPlus Phoenix will take place today at 16:00 UTC +0.

The total prize pool of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022 Stage 2 Masters Copehagen is $650,000 and will be distributed among the participants as follows:
