shroud joins the Sentinels
North American esports organization Sentinels has completed the VALORANT roster by signing former CS:GO player and popular streamer shroud. The 28-year-old Canadian star will help the team on the upcoming VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Last Chance Qualifier.
The legend is back and he's here to win. shroud joins VALORANT Sentinels roster.
shroud was once a professional CS:GO player. Playing for the Cloud9 team, the 28-year-old Canadian became the winner of ESL ESEA Pro League Season 1 - North America, iBUYPOWER Cup, ESL Pro League Season 4 - Finals and Americas Minor Championship - Kraków 2017.
However, in the summer of 2017, shroud put his career on hold to immerse himself in streaming. Since then, the Canadian has not appeared on the professional stage, actively developing his channels and increasing his audience. At the same time, with the advent of VALORANT, he completely forgot about CS: GO, giving his preference to FPS from Riot Games.
In turn, information has recently flashed that SicK will not help the team in the next tournament. ShahZaM, who shared this information, did not give a specific reason for SicK's absence, but it could be related to the mental health problems he has experienced in recent weeks.
The Sentinels' next championship will be the 2022 VALORANT Champions Tour: North America Last Chance Qualifier, which will take place in August. The team will compete for one ticket to VALORANT Champions 2022, which will also be fought for by The Guard, FaZe Clan, Cloud9, Shopify Rebellion, NRG, 100 Thieves and Evil Geniuses.
From now on, the Sentinels roster for VALORANT is as follows:
- ShahZaM
- shroud
- dapr
- Tenz
- Kanpeki
- Rawkus (coach)
