Format of VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Japan Stage 2 Challengers Week 1

The championship will offer participants two groups, each of which will feature four teams. In order to qualify for VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Japan Stage 2 Challengers Playoffs, a team only needs to get one win and reach the grand final of their quartet, and then play the best seed. In turn, the teams that lose in the opening matches will get another chance at Challengers Week 2. All championship matches will be held in the BO3 format.
