kennyS's move to OG's VALORANT roster fell through
According to insider neL, Riot Games has blocked kennyS from moving to OG's VALORANT roster. Probably, such a decision is due to the presence of the Frenchman's contractual obligations to the G2 Esports organization, since the developer wants esportsmen to transfer to their discipline from other games only as free agents.
kennyS is one of the best snipers in CS:GO history. After spending nine years with various French rosters including VeryGames, Titan, Team EnVyUs and G2 Esports, the 26 year old French player has won multiple championships including Gfinity Champion of Champions, DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca 2015, World Electronic Sports Games 2016, ESL Pro League Season 5 - Finals and Champions Cup Finals.
However, back in March last year, the sniper left the starting lineup of G2 Esports, unable to find a new home. At the beginning of 2022, there were rumors about the formation of kennyS of his own roster around young French players. However, after a while, the star sniper decided to abandon this idea in favor of another discipline.
The nearest tournament for the French team will be VALORANT Regional Leagues 2022 France: Revolution Stage 2, which will start on May 9th. At the same time, the organization has yet to find a fifth player in order to declare a full-fledged squad.
OG's current VALORANT roster is as follows:
- uNKOE.
- OniBy.
- fxy0.
- LaAw.
- daemoN (coach).
