FaZe Clan announced changes to the coaching bridge
North American esports organization FaZe Clan has announced changes to the team's VALORANT coaching bridge, parting ways with Trippy. Recall that the 26-year-old Canadian specialist has spent the last six months as an assistant head coach.
Today we part ways with Trippy, who was the assistant coach of our VALORANT roster. We are extremely grateful for your commitment and contribution to the team during your time as our coach and we wish you only the best for the future.
Trippy joined FaZe Clan at the end of 2020 as an analyst. Four months later, the 26-year-old Canadian led the team to victory at the 2021 VCT 2021: North America Stage 1 Challengers 3, as well as the finals at the 2021 VCT 2021: North America Stage 1 Masters and 2021 VCT: North America Stage 3 challengers 2.
Trippy stepped down as head coach last fall to become JDM's assistant. However, the rest of the period was difficult for the team, which failed to qualify for the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Stage 1 Challengers, as well as failed at less significant championships.
From now on, the FaZe Clan roster for VALORANT is as follows:
- babybay.
- dicey.
- flyuh.
- Larry Banks.
- ShoT_UP.
- JDM (head coach).
