Instinct left Cloud9 Academy
Mike 'Instinct' McGinniss has revealed on his Twitter account that he has become a free agent and is no longer under contract with Cloud9 Academy. He joined the organization on December 7 last year and was a member of C9 Academy until February 19.
Together with his teammates, he performed at Trovo Titans North America, NSG: Winter Championship - Open 14 and NSG: Winter Championship - Open 15. If at Trovo Titans North America the team took 2nd place and earned $2,000, then in the case of two other activities were not successful. At NSG: Winter Championship - Open 14, the team took 5-8th place, and at NSG: Winter Championship - Open 15 - 9-16th position.
Instinct's career as a Valorant player began in June 2021 when he joined Big Frames. He left the band a month later and played in various mixes. Mike's two main career achievements were winning the NorQuest Esports Series - Champions Division and second place in the previously mentioned Trovo Titans North America. In both cases, the esportsman received $2,000 each.
Now, with the departure of Mike McGinniss, Cloud9 Academy is left with the likes of d1msumboi, GLYPH, poiz, and RENZ. Vexel holds the position of coach.
Cloud9 has not yet said who will take the place of Instinct.
