Geekay Esports signed for Valorant
On the Geekay Esports Twitter account and in other mass media, information appeared about the conclusion of contracts with six esportsmen who will defend the honor of the club in the international arena. Ahmed 'RockeT' Mohamed, Richard 'rCk' Kanerva, Marouan 'Rheat' Musk, Shehab 'Shehab' Hani, Jan 'wayLander' Rahkonen and Roberts 'rAsk' Rybakovs will perform under the banner of Geekay Esports.
Among all the players, Jan 'wayLander' Rahkonen stands out in a special way, having an impressive experience in playing CS:GO at a professional level. The esportsman has been playing the shooter from Valve for seven years and managed to play in such esports clubs as Gambit Esports, Winstrike, pro100, FlipSid3 Tactics and others. Together with the latter, by the way, he was able to earn the most prize money, take part in Major tournaments and win DH Open Leipzig 2017.
The previous version of the Valorant Geekay Esports roster was disbanded on January 17th. Back then, players such as Saif 'fr1' Alamery, Hussein 'kasper' Nawab, Khalid 'aimhunterr' Mohammed, Soltan 'INFESTOR' Maleki and Hamed 'Dutch' Kaid played in the team. Cyborg athletes from the United Arab Emirates were able to win the RUSH Gaming Festival 2021 and take 7-8th and 9-12th places at the Strike Arabia Grand Finals and ESTAZ Valorant Elite League, respectively.
