Jonsyp becomes coach of Galatasaray Esports

Turkish esports organization Galatasaray Esports has announced the appointment of Jonsyp as the head coach of their VALORANT roster. Previously, the 24-year-old Turkish specialist headed the İstanbul Wildcats team.

Jonsyp began his VALORANT coaching journey early last year by joining the No Org Found. Already in March, the team was signed by the İstanbul Wildcats organization, in which the 24-year-old Turkish specialist continued to work as a head coach. However, over the course of the year, Jonsyp failed to take the team to the next level, failing to qualify for any tournament of the VCT 2021: Turkey series.

At the same time, the team continued to be in a fever in the new season, as İstanbul Wildcats failed in the VCT 2022: Turkey Stage 1 Challengers - Open Qualifier 1, taking only 9-16th place.

In turn, Galatasaray Esports only recently appeared on the scene, announcing the signing of the 2L8 team. However, the organization has already made its debut in the discipline, taking fifth place in the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Turkey Stage 1 Challengers - Closed Qualifier 2. The first test of strength for the 24-year-old specialist will be the closed qualifier for VRL 2022 Turkey: Birlik Stage 1, which will take place from 27 to 31 January.

From now on, the composition of Galatasaray Esports is as follows:

  • Touven.
  • GOSAYDAM.
  • Iroh.
  • docent.
  • frost.
  • Johnsyp.
