Jaemin joins ESports Connected

ESports Connect continues to build their roster. They said they have signed Jaemin to have the role of head coach on the squad. Together with him, Lee 'k1Ng' Seung-won, which we talked about recently, Kim 'zunba' Jun-hyuk and Yoon 'peri Boom-gi, also joined the club. K1Ng and zunba will be on the roster, while peri will be the team's second mentor.

The newcomers k1Ng and zunba will join Yu 'Moothie' Seung-woo and Kim 'GodDead' Sun-sin, who became part of the organization on December 25th.

The coaches who came from NUTURN Gaming began their mentoring careers on January 1, 2021. After a little less than a year of cooperation with NUTURN, the coaches were able to help the team's players achieve good success over the past time. Together with mentors, the team was able to take first place at events such as the DouYu Bie Zhuang Cup Winter and VCT 2021: Korea Stage 2 Challengers. If in the case of the first named championship the team was able to earn only $ 3,086, then the victory at VCT 2021: Korea Stage 2 Challengers provided the team not only with a reward of $ 17,893, but also with an invitation to VCT 2021: Stage 2 Masters - Reykjavík with a prize pool of $ 600,000. The team performed very well there and took 3rd place, losing to the players from Fnatic in the semifinals. In addition to being a bronze medalist at one of the largest Valorant tournaments, esports players received $ 80,000.
