FENNEL parted ways with Tonbo
Japanese esports organization FENNEL has announced changes in its VALORANT roster, parting ways with Tonbo. The organization thanked the player for his performances and wished him luck in the future.
Tonbo entered the professional scene last June and joined Crazy Raccoon a few months later. However, a new season for the 24-year-old Japanese esports player has begun with FENNEL. Over the course of a year, the player helped the team become the winner of VCT 2021: Japan Stage 1 Challengers 3, as well as reach the semifinals of VCT 2021: Japan Stage 2 Challengers 2.
However, the Japanese squad did not show consistent results throughout the season, which led to changes in the starting lineup. As a result, after an unsuccessful qualification for VCT 2021: Japan Stage 3 Challengers, 1 player was put on the bench. However, this did not help FENNEL end the season on a positive note, as the team failed VCT 2021: APAC Last Chance Qualifier, thereby failing to qualify for VALORANT Champions 2021.
The current roster of FENNEL is as follows:
- envy.
- CLZ.
- Jinx.
- TENSAI.
- mittiii.
- Derialy.
- Relife (trainer).
