Rumor: Brehze could go to VALORANT
According to Upcomer and VLR.gg, the 100 Thieves team tested Brehze. In addition, the North American team was considering ec1s. No final decision has been made, but the organization is interested in signing an experienced in-game leader due to the imminent departure of nitr0.
None of the players have signed to the organization yet, but 100 Thieves has gone to considerable lengths to find a captain this offseason. Before the start of the VALORANT Champions Tour next year, the team must sign two more players to complete the roster.
Recall that ec1s won recognition last year playing for the fish123 team. The roster then moved under the wing of Team Liquid, where the 21-year-old Briton finished second at the Red Bull Home Ground. However, after a string of setbacks, the player left the team to join Ninjas in Pajamas. But even here the player was in trouble, because after a couple of months the organization disbanded the roster and focused its efforts on creating a team in Brazil.
In turn, Brehze is still under contract with Evil Geniuses. The 23-year-old cybersportsman is known for his victories in ESL One: New York 2019, StarSeries & i-League CS: GO Season 8 and BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 American Finals, as well as getting into the TOP 4 at StarLadder Berlin Major 2019.
In this regard, the prospects for the Evil Geniuses roster, which are rumored to be joined by Stewie2K and autimatic, are vague. Probably, if Brehze decides to continue his career with VALORANT, then the North American organization will have to completely rebuild the roster for the new season, since it was around the 23-year-old American that they planned to build a new team.
