JPow may leave XSET
According to Shiftrle.gg, the North American esports organization XSET plans to make changes to the Rocket League roster by parting ways with JPow. In addition, the club intends to form a new roster around rapid and Evoh, while the future of percy remains a question mark.
JPow was the founder of the original XSET roster formed in the summer of 2020. In two seasons, the 20-year-old American esportsman helped the team win the Rizzo Show Match: Rogue vs XSET, as well as get into the top three at Gamers Without Borders 2021: North America, Science of Gaming Invitational 2 and Nissan Crew Battles.
The selection of players for the third position in the XSET roster has already begun, and percy is ahead of its competitors. However, the player has the option to leave the team if they wish to explore their options elsewhere. JPow looks set to part ways with the organization and is already playing alongside 2Piece and Chronic under Randoms.
It is not clear what caused the team's roster changes, but XSET failed in the spring season, taking part only in the RLCS 2021-22 - Spring: NA Regional Event 2 - 7-Eleven Slurpee Cup (9-12th place).
XSET's current Rocket League roster is as follows:
- jPow.
- percy.
- rapid.
- Evoh.
- Trey (coach).
