FURIA Esports signed a Rocket League coach

The Twitter account of the Brazilian eSports organization has information about the arrival of the coach to the ranks of the Rocket League roster. Wesley 'Kairos' Silva will coach the likes of Caio 'CaioTG1' Vinicius, Gabriel 'caard' Sardoso and Jan 'yanxnz' Nolasco. In addition, the roster finally left Enzo 'tander' Toledo. He became part of the Novus Aevi team and will play there alongside Brad, Royales, Lukezera and impulse.

The coach who came to FURIA Esports in the person of Wesley 'Kairos' Silva from 2017 to 2020 played on the international arena in the Rocket League as a player. His path has not been successful, and the only tournaments where he was able to get cash rewards were Renegade Cup NA: Fall Frenzy - Final Frenzy ($350) and Renegade Cup NA: Whiteout - The Blizzard ($175). Over the 3 years of his career, he earned $175 in prize money. As for his coaching activity, it is much more successful than what an esportsman could show on stage as a player. He has collaborated with clubs such as Lowkey Esports, The Clappers, Novus Evi, FC Barcelona and others. The most productive collaboration in Kairos' career history was his tenure with Lowkey Esports and The Clappers. The first, with the help of a coach, made it to the RLCS Season 8 Finals. Although the team is on the 9th-12th line of the tournament table out of 12 possible, the fact of being in a championship of this magnitude with a prize fund of $529,000 already speaks of the usefulness of the coach at the headquarters. In addition, the team received a relatively good cash reward of $12,000. A similar story was with The Clappers. The latter managed to get into the Rocket League Spring Series Europe and get into the top 6, as well as earn $14,000 in prize money.

The last tournament in which FURIA Esports played before the arrival of the coach was RLCS 2021/2022 Spring SAM Regional Event 1. There the team took 3rd place in the standings, thanks to which they earned $3,600. Now, with the arrival of Kairos, the team will be able to improve performance, relying on the experience of their mentor.
