saizen dropped from Williams Resolve
The English esports organization Williams Resolve has announced changes to the Rocket League starting roster, moving saizen to inactive. It is reported that the reason for this decision was the inappropriate behavior of a young player, whose place on the server until the end of the season will be taken by head coach Rix_Ronday.
Tonight, it was decided to leave one of our players on the bench during the qualifiers for RLCS 2021-22 - Spring: Europe Regional Event 2. As a result, saizen will go inactive, while our head coach Rix_Ronday will play together until the end of the season with pryyme and Stake.
This decision was not taken lightly, but the behavior shown in recent matches is behavior for which the player was previously warned and then fined by us ourselves.
Timeo is a very talented player, but being a teammate and a pro is more than just mechanical prowess. we understand that he is still young and will continue to try to teach him what it means to be a professional esports player and live up to the culture and values that we stand for in Williams Resolve. We also have to consider the career and the environment in which our other two young players have to play.
Admittedly, bringing on Rix_Ronday is not an ideal scenario as he hasn't been a professional player in a while, however we want to continue to create the right indoor environment for our players and staff and will continue to prioritize this.
saizen has been playing for Williams Resolve since last September. During this time, the 16-year-old Frenchman got into the TOP-8 at RLCS 2021-22 - Fall: EU Regional Event 1 - European Open and RLCS 2021-22 - Winter: EU Regional Event 1 - Apollo Open.
From now on, the Williams Resolve Rocket League roster is as follows:
- pryyme.
- Stake.
- Rix_Ronday (coach + stand-in).
- saizen (inactive).
