Amazon’s God of War is expected to adapt the events of God of War (2018) video game, but considering Heimdall, Thor, Sif and Odin are all set to appear in the series, it will not be a direct adaptation, as these characters made their debut in the game’s sequel, God of War: Ragnarok.

Frederick E.O. Toye (Shogun) is confirmed to direct the first two episodes of season one. The production and release date remain unknown for now.
